Nexon web3 subsidiary Nexpace has rolled out its second playtest for Maplestory N, which will run from 20th-29th November. Because of growing community demand, compared to its previous test in July, this one is open to anyone, although access is geo-restricted.
Building on the popular MapleStory IP, the first game to come from the MapleStory Universe is Maplestory N, which is slated for launch in 2025.
In terms of the latest playtest, it also includes complimentary ecosystem apps, such as the MapleStory Universe Marketplace and Explorer platforms.
Apart from exploring the game, its web3 features, and side apps, participants can earn in-game rewards including NESO, decoration items, and pre-registration bonuses. Additionally, users have a chance to obtain 5,000,000 NXPC, the MSU ecosystem token.
As for developer Nexpace, it will gather data across key areas including user experience, transaction volume, economic activity and general platform activity, in order to optimize these systems ahead of the official game launch next year.
