Sequence has announced Sequence Ecosystem Wallets, its latest embedded wallet solution enabling users to transition between apps and platforms using the same wallet.
Combining the utility of embedded wallet technology with the flexibility of cross-app and in-app functionality, Sequence says this solution provides the UX advantages of integrated wallets such as Sequence Embedded with the openness of Metamask.
Developers building larger ecosystems of games, or working with third-party platforms, can now keep their onboarding tech and asset management under one brand.

In terms of first-party games and partners within a network, Ecosystem Wallets offer
- Shared configuration keys – developers can offer native UI and an embedded wallet experience within their apps with universal player accounts and a custom web app portal.
- Sequence-powered experience – each Ecosystem Wallet will be powered by Sequence, giving users a seamless interface and experience without downloads, popups, or additional add-ons. These also enable social and email login options, gasless transactions, and more.
- Wallet integration – third parties can natively integrate branded wallets.
- Cross-app and cross-platform accessibility – the same account and assets are accessible across every app, game, or platform connected to an ecosystem.
Furthermore, Ecosystem Wallets can also be integrated by third-party platforms outside of an ecosystem – such as marketplaces, decentralized exchanges, or games. This gives users access to their assets and liquidity even on external platforms.
