Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart on Corgi’s insane ETF filing spree
Corgi has filed for just about every country ETF imaginable, and that’s only the start. After launching its first ETF in late 2025, the firm now has 180 to 200 on the market and has filed for over 500 more ready to launch this year. Single stock leverage, broad based exposure, themes, leveraged themes, space, they’re filing for everything under the sun, and undercutting everyone on fees. Since it costs hundreds of thousands a year to run each one, James sees a VC style burn rate, lighting money on fire, spraying and praying.
