21Shares Co-founder Ophelia Snyder on why crypto faces a product market fit reckoning
Ophelia’s point is simple, you can’t hack your way out of product market fit. Many chains are still early stage bets, and not all of them will find real demand, which doesn’t mean the industry is a fraud. She reaches for two classic examples, Juicero, the $700 juicer whose packets you could squeeze by hand, and WebVan, a good delivery idea buried under too much infrastructure and bad timing. Her warning for crypto is the red button test, if you pay people to press a button and they press it, that can look like demand, but they may just like getting paid, not getting real value.
